Coupons for Causes LA is an organization that uses coupons to buy items to donate to Upward Bound House, a local charity. Upward Bound House assists homeless families with minor children by providing housing and support services along with food and personal supplies. Big Moneymaker on Almay Cosmetics!

This awesome deal combined all available coupon tactics - manufacturer coupons, store coupons, rebates and rewards. This is the only thing better than free:)

Almay has a new concealer that is priced at $8.99. This week at Rite Aid it was buy one get one half price. The retail total was $13.48. I used one Rite Aid video values coupon ( available on the web site) for $3 off,  plus 2 newspaper coupons for $2 off each. I also used $4 in rewards from last week, so I got $11 off total. I paid $1.38 before tax. Rite Aid's rebate program is also offering a $2 rebate for each item ( limit 3). And, finally, I got another $4 reward to replace the one I used!

The extra money I get back from the rebates can go toward the total out of pocket expenses. I always pay tax, even on free items, so deals like this help a lot!
