Coupons for Causes LA is an organization that uses coupons to buy items to donate to Upward Bound House, a local charity. Upward Bound House assists homeless families with minor children by providing housing and support services along with food and personal supplies. Using coupons and sales we are able to save over 90% off retail on a variety of products, which means UBH gets more products to help families in need. 2 boxes for $.32!
Rice Krispies were on sale this week at CVS for $1.99. I bought 3, and used a $1/3 coupon. That made each box $1.66. Then I used the $3 in ECB from the colgate purchase. I applied it to the 2 boxes I am donating, which made them only $.16 each! I am keeping the third box for my own kiddos:-)
