Coupons for Causes LA is an organization that uses coupons to buy items to donate to Upward Bound House, a local charity. Upward Bound House assists homeless families with minor children by providing housing and support services along with food and personal supplies. Using coupons and sales we are able to save over 90% off retail on a variety of products, which means UBH gets more products to help families in need. Ready to donate:)

I have everything all packed up and ready to go to Upward Bound House on Tuesday.  I am so excited to make our first donation.  We ended up with 115 items that have a retail value of over $500, and spent less than $40 including all of the sales tax (which you pay even if the item is free).

I am leaving for Canada at the end of this week, so after I get through this week (Week 5) I will be off for 2 weeks, and will resume August 28th.  But please save those coupons for me - I will be back at the stores as soon as I can!
